About me
Hi I’m Ged, a fully qualified Government Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) with a passion for helping people become confident, safe drivers. With over 30 years of experience in the training field, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every lesson.

My career began with 22 years of service in the military, where I worked in the infantry as a Telecommunications and IT Training Specialist. During my time in the military, I developed valuable skills in discipline, patience, and effective communication, which laid the foundation for my future career in training. After leaving the military, I ran my own IT consultancy and training company for 15 years, providing training to the defence sector and various industries. This experience deepened my belief in personalised, client-centred learning, an approach I continue to apply today.

I chose to work with LDC because their LD System aligns perfectly with my approach to training. The system allows me to tailor lessons to each individual’s needs, learning style, and pace, ensuring you develop safe driving habits with confidence. The flexibility and structure of the LD System make my lessons both enjoyable and highly effective.

Outside of work, I’m happily married and the proud father of three grown-up sons. In my free time, I enjoy photography, a hobby that lets me express creativity and capture moments that inspire me.
